Vanessa Vega

Pelvic Health Physiotherapist

My fascination with the human body and the brain started at a very young age and led to me studying Biology, with a minor in Psychology, at McMaster University. I was fortunate enough to gain experience working at a Physiotherapy clinic following graduation which solidified where my career would take me. I went on to complete my Masters in Physiotherapy again at McMaster, graduating in 2011.

My experience has been working with clients from acute injury to years following neurological injury, as well as a wealth of experience working with pelvic health conditions. I specifically enjoy treating women before, during and following pregnancy helping them ease into a healthy life as a mom without incontinence or pelvic pain. I am one of the few therapists in the larger area who also treats pelvic health in men.

I enjoy seeing my clients success appear in them returning to fun activities whether it's getting into Crossfit, getting back on the ski hills, playing with their kids or just generally being active, energetic and happy again. I have seen my own pelvic floor & core rehabilitation success following my 3 pregnancies.

When I am not working, I can be found enjoying time with my 4 young children (and fur baby) often outside, hiking trails with the family in tow, exercising in my own home gym and in the summertime on the water riding my SUP. With 4 kids under 6, I am hardly ever alone!
